So many entered in our Wearable Art and Batiks Creations Contest this spring season, and let me tell you, it was incredibly hard choosing winners!
So many wonderful garments, quilts, wall hangings and more looked so wonderful. To everyone that entered – you are all winners in our eyes, not only for making the deadline but for putting your own original spin on our Batiks!

You could win $40 worth of store Credit!
Do you have an original creation or garment using Batiks? If you completed a project five weeks ago, five months ago, or even five years ago, you are eligible to enter. This will provide an opportunity for sewers to showcase their sewing and design talents. We encourage sewers of all skill levels to challenge their creativity and participate in this event. There is no new purchase requirement to participate!

Wearable Art: Any garment using any of our Batik Art paintings and/or Batik fabrics
Batik Creations: A finished Project using any of our Batik Art paintings and/or Batik fabrics.
HOW TO ENTER
- Submissions due by 1st day of Summer- June 20th 2017
- Send us a photo of your finished product using any of our Batik paintings and/or fabrics.
- Include a photo of yourself, a description of the project including any techniques, materials, or patterns used and what was your inspiration or motivation.
There is no limit to the number of submissions you can enter.
Entries must be yours and not violate any copyright laws, submissions can be newly or previously made.
Send your submissions via snail mail, email, or upload it on Facebook (we will need contact information for Facebook entries). *If you submit your entry using a mobile device, please include your name and email address.

PRIZE
$40 Website store credit for each category
Credit amount is good for merchandise and does not include patterns, applicable taxes or shipping. Awards are for online store credit and have no cash value.
WINNER SELECTION
One contestant will be chosen as the winner for each category.
Submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by a panel of appointed judges (some of our customers!) to choose the top within two categories.
You will be judged on inspiration, technique, skill, and design.
Entries must belong to you and are guaranteed not to violate any copyright laws. Indonesian Batiks reserves the right to edit the photo only to better feature the project (such as dropping out a distracting background). We will not alter the actual project in any way. Indonesian Batiks reserves specific rights to the photos. We will not sell or give to others, any of the images, but do reserve the right to use them in advertising, press releases, Social Media, blog, printed and online materials and/or any other types of displays.
