Passion for Batiks Sewing Challenge

Are you a last minute quilters and sewists?

Well we have good news! With our upcoming show we have decided to

extend our Passion for Batiks Sewing Challenge until Oct 31st.

 

When you send us photos of your completed projects using our Batiks,

we are overjoyed! We love seeing what you have done with our products

so we have a new contest for you….

 

***You could win $75 worth of store credit!***

 

Do you have an original creation or garment using Batiks? If you completed a project five weeks ago, five months ago,

or even five years ago, you are eligible to enter. This will provide an opportunity for sewers to showcase their sewing

and design talents. We encourage sewers of all skill levels to challenge their creativity and participate in this event.

There is no new purchase requirement to participate! Even if you haven’t begun your project yet, there’s plenty of

time to get started. Check out our project gallery for inspiration!

Passion for Batiks Sewing Challenge

Submissions will fall into one of TWO categories:

Wearable Batiks
Any garment, or fashion accessory using any of our Batik Art paintings and/or Batik fabrics.
Outfits, tops, purses, bags, etc.
Fashion / accessories (wearable)

Decorative Batiks
A finished Project using any of our Batik Art paintings and/or Batik fabrics.
Quilts, table runners, wall hangings, etc.
Quilting/ fabric art (decorative)

Batik Creation

HOW TO ENTER
Submissions due by October 31, 2018

Send us a photo of your finished product using any of our Batik paintings and/or fabrics.

Please also Include:

  • Photo of yourself
  • a description of the project including any techniques, materials, or patterns used
  • What was your inspiration or motivation

There is no limit to the number of submissions you can enter.
Entries must be yours and not violate any copyright laws.
Submissions can be newly or previously made.

PRIZE
$75 Website store credit for each category
Credit amount is good for merchandise and does not include patterns, applicable taxes or shipping.

Awards are for online store credit and have no cash value.

WINNER SELECTION
One contestant will be chosen as the winner for each category.
Submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by a panel of appointed judges (some of our customers!)

to choose the top within the two categories.

You will be awarded points based on inspiration, technique, innovation, and design.

Entries must belong to you and are guaranteed not to violate any copyright laws. Indonesian Batiks reserves the right to edit

the photo only to better feature the project (such as dropping out a distracting background). We will not alter the actual

project in any way. Indonesian Batiks reserves specific rights to the photos. We will not sell or give to others, any of the

images, but do reserve the right to use them in advertising, press releases, Social Media, blog, printed and online materials

and/or any other types of displays.
