Knit Fabric Fashion

Knit fabric is such a versatile fabric to work with, it’s both comfortable and flattering. The pattern I’m using today is a Butterick pattern, designed by kAtheRine Tilton.

This pattern is for lightweight knit fabrics and works well with our Batik Knit. It can be found at many fabric stores.

The pattern includes four options with different necklines and variations in the pocket hems.

I chose the slightly draped neck, option A.

I used one of our hand-dyed fabrics without a motif print.

This style is called Boysenberry Smash (Item #KBFXX5630H), it brightens up any wardrobe!

If you can’t decide on one print, the pattern gives you the option to add your own creative flair to the piece, allowing you to incorporate a few complementary prints.

Below, is the completed pattern as option A, with a slightly draped neck and pocket bands.

The pockets transform this pattern into such a fun piece that is cozy enough for a chilly autumn day.
